國語辭典楦頭，製鞋時塞在鞋內的木質模型。通常皮匠有大小楦頭數種，使用時往往一起搬出來，故稱為「搬楦頭」。後用以比喻揭發陰私，把醜事一一宣布出來。《儒林外史．第四五回》：「又大家搬楦頭，說偷著店裡的店官，店官也跟在裡頭打吵。」
