國語辭典農曆每年的第一個月。如農諺：「正月裡，夜兩好；二月裡，夜兩寶。」也稱為「夏正」。
《詩經．小雅》的篇名。共一三章。根據詩序：「正月，大夫刺幽王也。」或亦指傷時之詩。首章二句為：「正月繁霜，我心憂傷。」正月，正陽之月，夏曆四月也。
