國語辭典淮南王劉安得道升天，雞犬吃了剩下的仙藥，也隨之升天。見晉．葛洪《神仙傳．卷六》。後比喻一個人發達得勢，左右有關係的人也跟著發跡。如：「一人得道，雞犬升天。」也作「雞犬皆仙」、「雞犬俱升」。
